Diasporas Now is a performance platform for non-Western diasporic solidarity, founded by Rieko Whitfield, Lulu Wang, and Paola Estrella, who met at the Royal College of Art.
As multidisciplinary performance artists from the Japanese, Chinese, and Mexican diasporas respectively, they created Diasporas Now to open up contemporaneous discourses on displaced identities and non-Western perspectives, and celebrate the diverse, intersectional backgrounds of the artists featured on this platform.
